General Requirements for Israel Camp Staff
- At least 18 years old by July 1st , 2012
- Positive experience in working with kids and teens
- Speaking fluent English
- Ability to commit to 7 weeks of work starting from July 2nd till August 19th, 2012
- Reference and background check acceptable to eCamp.
- Must be willing to live in the campus for the full duration of employment.

Working Conditions
Life in eCamp is a special and unique experience, where you can express yourself and develop your skills on one hand and have fun on your free time, on the other. eCamp takes place in premium location which makes your life in eCamp very comfortable. Technology Counselor
As a technology counselor you will lead one or more eWorkshop during the camp. Among that, you will also supervise and lead your camper-group in the fun camp activities.
Qualified candidates:
- Must have skills and experience with one or more of the technology topics and software listed below:
- Flash Animations, Photoshop .
- Video filming & editing,
- Digital Music, DJ Mixing
- Photography & Graphic design.
- Game design using Game Maker, Quest 3D or Unity 3D & Game Modding on Star craft 2.
- Web design using HTML, Photoshop, PHP or CSS.
- Robotics using the BoeBot Kit , Lego Robotics or building a PC.
- Visual C# or Java Programming .
- Facebook & Mobile Apps
- Experienced and passionate to work with kids and teens in an informal setting.
Must be available to work from July 2nd until August 19th.
Unplugged Counselor
If technological skills are not your strength but you are an experienced amazing counselor and beside leading social activities you can lead sports activities such as basketball, soccer and more, this is your job. The Unplugged Counselor leads part of the recreation activities in eCamp.
Qualified candidates:
- Experienced in working with large and small groups of kids and teen in an informal setting.
- Have lots of energy, passion and responsibility.
- Experienced working in a special education setting- An advantage
Must be available to work from July 2nd until August 19th.
Entrepreneurship Program Coordinator
The leadership and entrepreneurship program is designed for the older campers, 16-18 years old. The program's purpose is to develop the campers' leadership abilities and to help them discover the entrepreneur that's inside.
Qualified candidates:
- Must have the desire, vision, management, communication, innovation as a part of his life and the willing to take part in educating the leaders of tomorrow.
- Have experience in developing educational programs for teens ages 16-18 and can become role model for them.
Entrepreneurship program coordinator also lead one or two workshops daily, supervise and lead your camper-group in the fun camp activities.
Must be available to work from July 2nd until August 19th.
Applicants for this position must be 21 years old and up.
Unplugged and Sports Coordinator
The Unplugged and sports coordinator is responsible for all the sports and Unplugged activities in camp and to create social and fun programs for the different age groups.
Qualified candidates:
- Are experienced in managing a team of counselors.
- Have lots of energy and enthusiasm!!!
- Have experience in working with kids and teens in informal settings.
- Can plan and develop social and educational activities for different age groups.
- Are passionate about working in a summer camp setting.
- Must be fluent in Hebrew
The Unplugged and sports coordinator is a part of the head staff in camp. The job includes 4 days orientation spread between April to June. Must be available to work from June 29th until August 19th.
Applicants for this position must be 21 years old and up.
CIT Coordinator
Responsible for the CIT (Counselors In Training) program. The CIT coordinator train the teens to become counselors, runs leadership activities and supervise the CIT’s work during the day. The CIT coordinator also lead one or two workshops daily
Qualified candidates:
- Must have experience working with teens ages 16-18, guiding and inspiring them.
- Can plan and develop leadership and counselors’ training program.
The CIT Coordinator is a part of the head staff in camp. The job includes 4 days orientation spread between April to June. Must be available to work from June 29th until August 19th.
Applicants for this position must be 21 years old and up.
Unit Head
The Unit head has the responsibility for the campers and counselors of a specific age group. The Unit head manage his/hers staff and create social and fun programs fits to the different age groups.
Qualified candidates:
- Are highly experienced in managing a team of counselors, give professionally guidance and feedback to the counselors.
- Have experience in working with kids and teens in informal settings.
- Can plan and develop social and educational activities for different age groups.
- Are passionate about working in a summer camp setting.

The unit head is a part of the head staff in camp. The job includes 4 days orientation spread between April to June. Must be available to work from June 29th until August 19th.
Applicants for this position must be 24 years old and up.
Workshop Coordinator
The workshop coordinator aims to maximize the campers' experience at the eWorkshops. This position requires a wide set of interests in the different subjects taught at eCamp.
Qualified candidates:
- Have knowledge, understanding and some experience in the fields of the different eWorkshops, such as: computer programming, multimedia, web design, etc.
- Have experience in developing syllabus and curriculum in the field of technology education. Have experience in leading and teaching computer-related classes for kids and/or teens.
- Can observe and give feedback to the eWorkshops instructors and guide them in their work.
The workshop coordinator may also lead one or two workshops daily, supervise campers and take part in the camp activities.
The workshop coordinator is a part of the head staff in camp. The job includes working from home prior to camp. Must be available from June 29h until August 19th 2012.

Technology Coordinator
As the technology coordinator you will set up and maintain a network of 100-200 computers. This position is very demanding, as the network is the source of life for many eCamp activities. It has to work- always! It requires late hours work, incredible flexibility and an open mind that can find creative solutions to technical problems.
Qualified candidates:
- Are competent to set up, maintain and administer a computer network including server, router, switches and cabling.
- Have experience in a client/server environment using Microsoft network operating systems (NT, 2000, 2003) and Windows XP / 7.
- Are able to configure a firewall, DNS server, WINS server, DHCP server and VPN.
- Have experience and competency with Norton Ghost imaging software.
- Have knowledge and experience in fixing simple hardware and software problems.
The technology coordinator may also lead one or two workshops daily, supervise campers and take part in the camp activities.
The Technology coordinator is a part of the head staff in camp.The job starts from mid June at the eCamp office. Must be available to work from June 29th until August 19th.
Applicants for this position must be 21 years old and up.
eCast (documentary crew)
eCamp’s documentary team are everywhere around camp, filming and photographing the daily activities and special events. The team is responsible toedit and upload photos and clips to the eCamp website on a daily basic.
The eCast crew also lead one or two workshops daily, supervise campers and take part in the camp activities.
Qualified candidates:
- Creative and hard working
- Vast knowledge in filming, interviewing, editing and production.
- Experience in working with kids and teens – advantage.
the eCast crew is a part of the eCamp counselors staff and leads one or two workshops daily. Must be available to work from July 2nd until August 19th.
Logistic Assistance
Working on eCamp’s logistics during camp’s daily activities and special events. Responsible for the operation of the camp’s store on a daily base.
Qualified candidates:
- Must be hard working and highly motivated. Likes to take initiative.
- Experience in working with kids and teens – advantage.

Must be fluent in Hebrew
Working part time at the eCamp office during April-June. Must be available to work from June 29th until August 19th.
Camp's Medic
Responsible for the health of campers and staff during the
summer . The medic distributes medicine on a daily base and handles medical emergencies.
He is a part of the camp’s operation team.
Qualified candidates:
- Certified Medic or EMT.
- Responsible, calm, able
to work under pressure.
- Experience in working with kids and teens – advantage.

Working in the eCamp office two weeks before camp starts. Must be available to work from July 2nd until August 19th.
