Experience Jewish Technology Camp in Israel
Our Israel summer programs take a modern, pluralistic approach to Judaism. All are welcome and the Jewish elements of program are fun, exciting and accessible. As an Jewish technology camp we keep kosher, keep the Shabbat atmosphere and accommodations are made for those campers who require time for prayers. Our more observant campers participate in a Shabbat morning service, led by our Judaic staff in an on-site synagogue.
Celebrate Shabbat in an Israel Summer Program
Kabbalat Shabbat is celebrated in song and with the traditional blessings. All Campers and Staff dress in white and gather together for Kabalat Shabbat. This is truly a unique and bonding experience for observant campers as well as secular ones.
Shabbat is a day of rest. We dedicate time to thinking about others, the environment and other issues, to which we add a Jewish point of view. At the end of Shabbat we hold a Havdalla service for the whole camp to mark the beginning of a new and exciting week for all the participants of the Israel summer program.
Experience Israel
Share a room with campers from Israel, a great opportunity to learn about each others’ cultures and improve your Hebrew. Many of our international campers stay in touch with the new Israeli friends they made during the year. Another advantage in coming to this Israel summer program is that you get to taste Israeli food and enjoy Israeli culture. You can also extend your experience in Israel by adding a pre-camp trip around the country.
You can call eCamp an Israel summer school for Jewish values and for making Jewish friends.
