eCamp 2012 Registration Terms & Conditions

    Payments

  1. Registration fee payment is required at the time of registration. Registration for eCamp will not be taken into account until fee is paid.
  2. The registration fee of $200 (or €150) is non-refundable after February 1st, 2012.
  3. Tuition must be paid in full at least 45 days prior to program’s opening day. Unpaid balances after this date will incur a late fee of $70 (or €50), which will be added to the balance due.
  4. All registrations booked within 45 days prior to program’s opening day must be paid in full at time of registration.
  5. All registrations booked within 14 days prior to program’s opening day will be charged a late registration fee of $70 (or €50), which will be added to the balance.
  6. Participants will not be allowed to begin the program unless balance is paid.

  7. Additional fees

  8. Several eWorkshops require an additional lab fee for special equipment of kits (As mentioned in the eWorkshops descriptions). Please note that this fee must be paid before session begins.
  9. Refunds of lab fees are given only for eWorkshops changes made before 14 days prior to the session’s start. After that date, refunds will only be considered if camper finds another camper who is willing to switch with him/her.
  10. Airport Welcome and Farewell services (including pick-up and drop-off) are offered for a fee of $85 (or €60), for each direction. Pick-up for the Pre-Session trips is free of charge.
  11. Prices do not include airfare.
  12. Camp Store: campers can purchase extra snacks and souvenirs in camp store using a prepaid account only. Parents can load money in the camper’s account before and during the session. 
  13. Any unused amounts of camp-store account will be returned by check, minus 5% handling fee. The check will be sent to the camper’s home address one month after the end of the third session of camp.

  14. Changes / cancellations / refunds:

  15. Cancellation of registration up to 45 days prior to program’s opening day will be eligible for full refund, less the registration fee.
  16. No refunds will be given after this appointed date.
  17. Opening of session or trip is dependent on number of registered campers.
  18. Changes of session selection are accepted until 30 days before opening day – free of charge (as long session is not full). Late changes carry a $70 (or €50) fee.
  19. eWorkshops selections must be submitted 30 days before the opening day of the session. Late selections and changes will be accepted based upon availability.
  20. No refunds will be given due to late arrival or expulsion from camp. eCamp holds the right to expel campers, with no refund, if camp behavior rules are broken or ethical codes are not followed.
  21. In case of an early departure due to a medical condition, upon discretion of our medical staff or for any other reason, you will be given a refund equal to 40% of the relative period that was not utilized, out of the session tuition paid. No refund will be given in cases where there are less than 5 days remaining of the camp session.
  22. Cancellation requests must be sent via fax or email, and will be followed by a confirmation message.

  23. Health and Insurance:

  24. Parents or guardians must notify the eCamp office during the registration process of any special medical condition, allergies or disabilities of their child. eCamp reserves the right to decline camper’s participation if we feel that we cannot accommodate for a specific medical condition.
  25. Medical forms and health statements must arrive to eCamp office before opening day. Providing us with this information will allow us to take care of your child's health and provide him/her with the best and correct treatment, if needed. All medication (if there is any) is kept by the medical staff and will be provided as needed, according to doctor orders (before/after meals etc.) by staff only. Every medication used daily by camper has to appear clearly in the medical form.
  26. All participants are insured during the program dates. This insurance does not cover pre-camp medical conditions.
  27. Health insurance:
    1. Israeli participants: campers must deposit their 'Kupat Holim' valid insurance card on arrival.
    2. International participants: Health insurance is provided throughout the stay in the camp, from time of arrival until time of departure. The policy covers transportation to hospital. Emergency medical air evacuation is included as well as limited assistance of relatives' flights and stay in Israel during required hospitalization in Israel. The policy does not cover pre-existing conditions with the exception of Diabetes, Asthma and allergies (provided the participant was treated and was in stable condition during six months prior to camp. Doctors proof will be required).

    Miscellaneous and Statements: 

  28. By registering for eCamp, I hereby give my approval to use any picture, video, recording and digital products of my child for the promotion and marketing purposes.
  29. By registering for eCamp, I hereby give my approval for eCamp to send my child newsletters and updates via e-mail and Internet social networks.
  30. eCamp is not responsible for camper’s belongings nor equipment while in transit or at Camp.
  31. eCamp management is not responsible for damage made by any camper neither to camp property nor to property of a third party. In case of damage, camper will be charged accordingly.
