In the eWorkshops of our Jewish computer camp you’ll find the best equipment and instructions to create three incredible projects that you will bring home from camp at the end of the summer. We create an environment that fosters fun, excitement and creativity. Each workshop is being held in a small group of up to eight campers, to ensure personal progress.

Customize your personal daily schedule with the 3 workshops that interest you. In each workshop you will create your own project. It is amazing how much one can accomplish in 2 weeks!
Work like the pros!
Guided by eCamp’s professional counselors, you’ll create cool projects and take them home. Use the best software and hardware from: Adobe®, Microsoft®, Apple®, Autodesk®, Sony®, Wacom® and more.
Take it home!
At eCamp, you will receive a USB Flash Wristband for storing all of your awesome projects. It is unbelievably cool and it’s a great way to keep all your files and memories from the summer.
Learn about the different eWorkshop
At eCamp, the Jewish computer camp, you get to choose any combination of three workshops a session. Check the list below and start planning your summer. The actual selection is done on a special form following your registration to eCamp.
Expect more information about the workshops soon. We will add project samples, suggested tracks and more. Let us know what else you would like to know.
1. Flash Animations
Your first step in becoming a cartoon animator! Draw your characters and bring your scene to life using the most advanced animation software out there - Adobe Flash®. Create your full animation for the web and add interactive features to make your movie pop!
2. 3D Modeling
Take your first step in the virtual reality world and model objects and scenes in 3D Studio Max®. Add lights, textures and cameras to create simple 3D animations!
3. Digital Comics
Tell your stories with digital drawings. Grab a digital pen and start drawing! You will use Adobe
® Photoshop
® and a Wacom
® digital drawing tablet to draw your original storyboard and print the finished product. Check out

4. Graphic Design 1
Use Adobe® Photoshop® to edit, manipulate and apply effects. Create a cool image that is out of this world and have it printed on a T-shirt. Check out some examples here.
• $25 Lab fee (includes printed T-shirt to take home).
5. Graphic Design 2
Become a professional graphic designer! Make a new brand and design the logo & products. Upgrade your skills with advanced photo manipulation, work in the right flow in Photoshop® and create eye-popping designs.
• Prerequisite: Graphic Design 1 (#4) or experience with Photoshop.
6. Digital Photography
Take incredible photos with digital cameras and explore the different settings & modes. Upload your gallery, select your favorite photo and get a foam board print you can take home & hang in your room. Check out some examples here.
7. Digital Filmmaking
The big screen and YouTube™ is waiting for your incredible short film! work in a small team as you Plan the script, record the action with an HD camera and learn the basics of Adobe® Premiere® to edit the scenes! Check out some video examples here.
8. Music Video Production
Take a role in the creation of a fresh new music video clip! Go through all steps of production with planning, filming and adding special effects to get ready for your YouTube™ moment.
9. Special FX Editing
Use Adobe® After Effects® to create a short clip with amazing Hollywood-style effects. Combine real-world shots with your own imaginary scenes while using cutting edge technology. Shoot some video snippets and mixthem into any scene, your imagination is the only limit!
10. Digital Music
Produce your own hit song! Record original tunes with special editing keyboard, add unique effects with music editing software to create cool tracks that will excite everybody.
11. DJ Mixing
The Party begins at eCamp’s music studio and you are the DJ! Create your own tracks using mixing and editing software. Control the DJ board on camp’s parties and fire up the dance floor.
12. Casual Game Production
Love playing games? Develop your game-building skills using Game Maker and create your own new action game. Let your imagination run wild!
13. Game Modding
Create your own mod of StarCraft® II: Wings of Liberty™! Use the new 3D game engine, build maps, change characters and take control over your own Real Time Strategy game!
14. Mobile Phone Games
Use Mominis game development studio to design games for mobile devices. Plan the story, then set characters, environments and rules! Download the game to your cell-phone and play it wherever you go.
15. 3D Game Design
Take the next step into the gaming world with 3D games that look absolutely amazing! Control 3D characters and bring them to life in the new world you’ve crafted.
• Prerequisite: 3D Modeling (#2) or any Game Design workshop (#12-14).
16. Websites 101
Get yourself online! Develop your first website in HTML and add images, backgrounds and links. Make your website unique and publish it on the web for everybody to surf!
17. Websites Styling
Upgrade your web design skills with professional styling (CSS) to create stunning web pages. Use Photoshop® & Flash® to create unique graphical interface!
• Prerequisite: Websites 101 (#16) or experience with HTML.
18. Dynamic Websites
Add programming in PHP to enhance your website with dynamic content! Collect information from users with forms, protect content with passwords and create web applications.
• Prerequisite: Websites 101 (#16) or experience with HTML.
19. Web Master Team
Join a team of experts in the fields of web design and dynamic websites to develop a state-of-the-art website or web app. Bring your own talent to the group, work as a start-up company and reach new horizons!
• Prerequisite: expertise in any eWeb workshops (#16-18); Campers are required to apply and submit a sample project.
20. Build a PC
Build your own new PC and take it home after camp. Connect all parts including motherboard, Intel® CPU, hard drive, memory and a DVD drive. Set your new computer up for Internet, run games, apps & more!
• Ages 13-18 • $230 Lab fee (includes a computer to take home).
21. Build a Robot
Use the BoeBot® kit to build your own rolling robot! Learn the basics of robotics & program the robot’s code to define its actions and reactions. Take your Robot home & keep upgrading it! Watch an eCamp robotics team of 2010.
• Ages 10-18 • $160 Lab fee (includes robot and kit to take home).
22. Lego Robotics Team – in partnership with 
Build a sophisticated robot using the exciting Lego Mindstorms NXT kit. Work as a team to design, build & program an independent robot that runs through challenging tasks on your command.
23. Programming 101
Your first step into the software industry. Learn the basics of computer programming with Microsoft® Visual C# language (C-Sharp). Code your first programs and simple computer games!
24. Java Programming
Upgrade your coding skills. Dive into the world of Java and learn the basics of object-oriented programming. Use arrays, types and classes to develop even more complicated programs!
• Prerequisite: Programming 101 (#23) or experience with other programming languages.
25. Facebook Apps
Start programming simple apps and games for the most popular social network. Code in PHP or JavaScript, add wall posts and other social abilities, and start counting the Likes!
• Prerequisite: Websites 101 (#16) or experience with HTML and Programming 101 (#23) or experience with other programming languages.
26. Console Zone Extra
Extend your time in the eCamp big screen console game hall. Play Wii® games, Guitar Hero®, DJ Hero® and motion controlled games on PlayStation® Move and Xbox360® Kinect. Take a tour to the Console Zone.
27. Entrepreneurship and Leadership Program
Discover your inner entrepreneur and share your innovation with the world. Work in teams that invent new ideas and go through all the steps as start-up companies do: conduct market research, compile a presentation and compete in the grand final with Israeli hi-tech inventors as the judges. Learn more about special Gigabyte programs.
